CHAKRA
Awaken and explore your 7 chakras. Each week asana and meditation will highlight a chakra while maintaining an awareness of all the others. Come to one class or to all! No previous knowledge of chakras required!

CLASSICAL
This style of yoga is graceful yet challenging for all levels. Nourish your soul as you move thru the asanas (poses) enhancing your overall wellness. Improvement in your posture and greater flexibility are noticeable changes that will occur with consistent participation.

CORE ENERGETICS CHAKRA DANCE
A dance /movement class geared to opening energetic blocks, clearing and charging the chakras, getting a great cardio-workout and most of all having fun! No previous dance experience necessary to follow you own rhythm.

FELDENKRAIS
On its basic level, the Feldenkrais Method improves posture, coordination, flexibility and suppleness, while alleviating pain by minimizing physiological and psychological stress associated with restricted functions. Patterns of inefficiency, compromised self-expression, and forgotten ways of feeling can all be improved. The positive integration of the mind and body through the Feldenkrais Method enables people to live more comfortable and rewarding lives. With improved efficiency comes greater enjoyment and pleasure in daily living. Ordinary problems associated with the work place or caused by aging are remedied. Persons with orthopedic or neurological problems experience wonderful therapeutic benefits. Meanwhile athletes, actors, dancers and musicians substantially improve their performance skills through the Feldenkrais Method.

INTEGRAL YOGA
A meditative class using asansas (postures), deep relaxation, pranayama (breathing) and chanting to support and develop each individual physically, intellectually and spiritually. Appropriate for first time students as well as seasoned practitioners.

KRIPALU
Kripalu yoga is built around the unity of body/mind/spirit, the sacredness of the moment, the inborn divinity of each individual, and the conscious use of energy. The result is an increase in total body muscle tone with an overall sense of balance.

PRANAYAMA
Pranayama is beneficial to the body, mind, and spirit. Learn and practice the fundamentals of yogic breathing techniques. You will find the practices comfortable and joyful, in addition to learning to use the prana (vital energy) for healing, cleansing, and strengthening. No previous experience is required.

SVAROOPA
Svaroopa yoga allows you to experience your own essence, your own bliss, by practicing yoga postures which open tight areas in your body along your spine. You move through postures in a very supported way using props. You are guided by detailed instruction and demonstration so that each asana, (pose), helps your body release tensions that have been long held; allowing instead, a sense of peace and calm. Along with the releasing of stress, Svaroopa Yoga practice is physically, emotionally, and mentally energizing.

VINYASA
Emphasizing the breath with body alignment, this style of yoga incorporates a flow of movement linking one pose to the next. A dedicated practice moves you into your center of being, harmonizing body and mind as you increase your strength and flexibility.

VINYASA/YIN
An intense flow focused on strengthening followed by long holding of stretch to release the deep layers of connective tissue.

YOGA DANCE
Yoga Dance uses a grid system that goes through the seven major chakras using music and movement to energize and balance your being. Yoga Dance is self-expressive movement using the principles of yoga; non-competitiveness, self-acceptance, compassion and being with what is. It's a tremendous amount of fun. Participation is for all fitness levels and the class is self-paced. It's wonderful for people who love to move and love to dance but have traditionally thought that they couldn't.

YOGA FOR PRE-TEENS
Yoga trains the mind to focus on one thing at a time. Transferring that experience into life is very beneficial, especially in the classroom. In sports and athletic activities, this one-pointed focus helps the body and mind unite to perform at optimum levels. Children today lead such busy lives; yoga is a tool which also teaches relaxation skills to relieve daily stressors.
